Penn State Mont Alto spent time, energy and money this month to make sure that local families won't miss out on the chance to celebrate this season of holidays.
During the Mont Alto LaunchBox Fall Forum on Nov. 20, Happy Valley LaunchBox Chief Amplifier Lee Erickson will lead a panel discussion of Penn State student entrepreneurs Jack Quinn and Joe Kitonga as they describe their business ideas and plans and how they are launching them into the marketplace.
The Mont Alto LaunchBox, which provides free services and assistance to aspiring entrepreneurs, will offer three workshops this fall to provide inspiration and education for business start-ups. They are free of charge and open to the public.

The Mont Alto LaunchBox will offer a free workshop for aspiring entrepreneurs from 6 to 7 p.m. April 25 at 40 North Second St. in Chambersburg. “So, you have an idea for a business. Now what?” will be presented by Kathyrn Gratton, SCORE Four State Chapter chair, Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro executive director, and a certified small business mentor.
