Five Penn State Commonwealth Campus leaders will be retiring from the University in the coming weeks and months, Penn State Vice President for Commonwealth Campuses and Executive Chancellor Margo DelliCarpini has announced.
Penn State’s Commonwealth Campuses and the state’s community colleges have announced a new collaboration aimed at expanding educational opportunities in Pennsylvania and removing barriers to degree completion among college students. The collaboration builds upon long-standing relationships between the campuses and the community colleges and a shared commitment to access and affordability in higher education.
Applications are being accepted now through Jan. 23, 2024, for the Idea TestLab, a free, four-week, virtual accelerator designed to help entrepreneurs determine the viability of their business idea. The Idea TestLab is sponsored by the Penn State Harrisburg, Mont Alto, Shenango and York LaunchBoxes.
Recently tenured and promoted Penn State faculty across the University were honored Oct. 2 through Penn State’s Promotion and Tenure Recognition Program, now in its 21st year, during a private event held in the Paterno Family Humanities Reading Room on the second floor of Pattee Library at the University Park campus.

Penn State University Libraries presented its sixth annual "Undergraduate Research Award: Excellence in Information Literacy" honors at the end of the spring 2023 semester to 136 students at 20 undergraduate Penn State campuses.
